Accounts Payable
Fairchild Communication Systems is looking for a full time accounts payable accountant.
Candidates should:
- Be highly organized and very detail oriented,
- Be analytical,
- Have an excellent, professional, customer service attitude,
- Have good communication skills, both verbal and written. The person selected will have direct communication with customers, vendors, and all internal departments,
- Have good working knowledge and experience with:
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable
- Inventory
- Journal entries
- Research, analysis, and reporting
Duties will include:

- Posting vendor bills
- Preparing vendor checks
- Cross-trained with Accounts Receivable
- Customer invoicing
- Posting customer payments & deposits
- Credit & collections
- Posting expenses
- Assist with preparation of month end closing
- Reconciliation of statements and accounts
- Assist with audits
- Assume other responsibilities over time
